Our
Lord has asked us: Go,
therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, (Matthews
28,19).
Jesus
draws all of us to His Call. It is not a mere invitation. It’s
a summon to undertake the task.
The
Catholic Church in Argentina accepts this challenge. Its
evangelizing work is seen through the several programs and
activities aimed to build a compassionate and just society, to serve
the needs of the poor, troubles, frail and oppressed, and to uphold
the dignity of each person as made in the image of God. Catholic
Communities work in one Spirit to strengthen their bonds and to live
the Communion. Parishes keep their institutions growing,
mission in their neighborhoods and take care of their neighbors in
want.
To
undertake this huge pastoral activity, thousands of people donate
their money, time, experience, and expertise without any interest
other than help.
We
thank our Lord for the work that can be done. However, we are aware
that we do not reach many more because we lack people with expert
knowledge, and money is short to meet the ever-increasing social
demand.
We
are also aware that if we want the Gospel reach more, it is
important to have the resources to finance our work and help it grow.
Plan
Compartir is an Argentine Catholic Church's program drawn up to
support the pastoral work, not only financially but also by
generating a working environment that becomes evangelizing in itself.
We
would like to invite you to learn about our work and join us.
