Compartir
is based mainly on spirituality of communion coming from the Gospel.
This spirituality guides its working style, its structure and how
the latter is supported.
Our
basiss
[1]:
 |
Joint
responsibility:
When a human heart has converted to the Gospel, it feels naturally
responsible for the Community's evangelizing activities. This
implies increasing efforts to make more people share in some form of
ministry and play a part in the Parish life. |
 |
Solidarity:
Love in action not only in words. It becomes a challenge when
it means fostering a sense of solidarity among communities.
Spirituality of Communion should develop gestures of
solidarity among different Communities and among members
within the Community, at parish and /or dioceses level.
|
 |
Evangelical
poverty:
We
are not talking merely about austerity. With this, we mean the
spiritual freedom to be generous and open-handed. Assuming the
evangelical poverty implies to wisely manage our spiritual and
material goods we have been bestowed.
|
 |
Efficiency: It implies
seeking and allocating the adequate resources to meet the
objectives. Neither is it enough to wish things happened nor
is it doing things on the way. Efficiency means raising the
adequate resources, planning realistically and carrying out
our plans. |
 |
Transparency:
Reporting on our accounts ensures reliability. One of the
problem concerning Church’s activity support is the lack of
knowledge on how the Church manages its funds. Transparency is
a vital tool to build up consciousness among Lord's people.
|
 |
Exemplary
behavior: It is our
testimony. How people liaise with each other and manage
Communities' resources is catechetical, and stronger
than any speech.
|
These
six values imply mutually and can be summed up in only one aim:
|
Shall
we give testimony of being faithful to Christ, be one in the
Eucharist and in the Communion of Goods.
|
Or
as Navega Mar Adentro says: “Communion of people and
communities is also achieved through the spirit and practice of
sharing in goods, with new participation structures and solidarity".
