Compartir
aims to build awareness among Catholic People about the financial
support that evangelization demands. This awareness should turn into
increasing gestures of solidarity, and more efficient, transparent
and exemplifying practices. Practices adopted with greater
responsibility with the spirit of evangelical poverty.
Compartir
develops a work program with a set of very practical tools that any
community at parish or dioceses level can adopt and /or customize to
suit its reality and pastoral Programs.
Each
community is only one of its kind and can find its sole way to
develop its own Plan Compartir.

Compartir’s
general objective is:
To
provide sustainable financial comprehensive support to the
Catholic Church’s Evangelizing work in Argentina, by
sharing our time, talents and money while renewing our
management culture. |

Church’s Evangelizing work...”
Support
does not only imply monetary resources, it also talks about the
people working in Pastoral Programs. Without their contribution,
it would be impossible to carry them on.
We
believe it is sustainable
and comprehensive
because it does not only encompass fixed costs. Yet, Plan Compartir,
for example, works to improve social programs addressed to help
people of no means, provides pastoral agents with better tools, and
bears support to pastoral projects over
time.
In
this way, Compartir’s objective becomes dynamic. Wherever
resources become scarce
or there are no resources at all, Compartir finds room to evangelize
while raising funds.
Financial
support is not an aim in itself. It’s a way to make the Gospel
reach more. Compartir’s ultimate goal is serving and helping
Communities grow in their evangelizing task.

If
supporting the Pastoral work is the objective, sharing and renewing
our management culture is the way we have found to achieve it.
When
we talk about “…sharing...”
we propose to work towards growing in the spirit of communion of
goods, which is every Christian community’s ideal. Our communities
are living up to this ideal; people donate their skills, money, food
or time. Compartir seeks to increase their commitment to the
community by improving the working environment,
so many more can feel attracted to happily share what they are like
and what they have.

aims
to update the management of our day-to-day activities. Improving our
organization, participation, communication and administration are
not minor topics. Badly managed activities usually result in misused
resources, or in an inefficient organization that duplicates efforts
instead of optimizing them.

Compartir
puts forward a process to update the Communities’
organization and conversion process within the Communities
and the individuals working in them. A process that
demands conviction and perseverance. “To
carry on this process, it is necessary to change people's
mind, attitudes and practices. The Economic Reform in the
Argentine Catholic Church has to go through a process of
conversion to Jesus' Gospel”. (NMA 89) |
Compartir
is deeply entrenched in the spirituality of the Communion coming
from the Gospel. It guides the work style, its structure and
how it is supported.
