looks up to the fraternal spirit among the first Christian
Communities. Communion lived in actions around the Eucharistic table.
The
document Navega Mar Adentro highlights “the need of a greater
communion" among the challenges of a New Evangelization. It
says that it is urgent to see and correct what makes it difficult to
live the Communion spirit proposed by the Gospel (N°46).
It
proposes, "The Church should become home and school of
Communion". "This means, to recreate the church
environment to make it attractive and caring…so as everybody feel
called to participate. (N° 83)

shares this spirit and suggests communities should focus on
revaluing some day- to- day activities not taken into account due to
the rush of the work. Therefore, welcoming new comers, instilling an
awareness of being church, fostering participation, mutual
responsibility and communion spirituality are rethought and renewed.
In a society where haves are the most valued, if we deepened and
lived this refreshing spirit in our communities, it would become a
valid answer and a good testimony of a new evangelization.
